• Kiyomizu Temple
  Kiyomizu temple was founded in 780 on the site of the Otowa Waterfall in the wooded hills east of Kyoto and derives its name from the falls pure waters. In 1994, the temple was added to the list of UNESCO world heritage sites. The main hall has a wooden stage that just out over the hillside and offers impressive views of the city. Enjoy a sweeping view of the entire city from the Kiyomizu stage! (Approx. 60 min. )
